| Shri Charudatta Aphale’s program was a huge success, one of the best shows the Sydney Marathi community has experienced. This sensational program had the audience captivated for an entire three and half hours, leaving us all wondering where the time flew. The first half was comprised of the meaning of ‘Kirtan’, and beautiful Kirtan that covered a wide range of topics from, spirituality, politics, puran to modern history. The Kirtan was presented with the artist’s exceptional voice and fluency, which evoked many fond childhood memories. The second half consisted of various ‘Natya Sangit’ which were accompanied by detailed descriptions of the meaning behind the songs which left the audience with a new found appreciation for this type of art. The delightful music, singing voice and knowledge gained from the program made it a truly memorable night for everyone.
